About
Mechanical engineering student focused on robotics, control systems, and the intersection of software and physical systems.
I am a mechanical engineering student in the co-op program at the University of Alberta with a strong interest in robotics and control systems, particularly for aerial and autonomous platforms.
Through my work with the University of Alberta Aerial Robotics Group (UAARG), I have contributed to both the airframe and software subteams. This has involved designing airframes under real-world constraints, developing and tuning control loops, and validating system behavior through simulation and testing.
My technical interests lie in system-level thinking: modeling systems, tuning controllers, integrating sensors and embedded systems, and validating performance. I enjoy projects where mechanical design, software, and controls intersect.
In addition to robotics and controls, I have experience with CAD, FEA, and CFD. I place a strong emphasis on design tradeoffs, documentation, and verification. I aim to build systems that are not only functional, but understandable and maintainable.
